In Moscow took place the working meeting of Deputy Governor of the Smolensk region of Rostislav Rovbel with the First Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Sergey Zybam. The sides discussed the development of the industrial enterprises of the region.
In particular, Rostislav Rovbel raised the question of assistance in resolving problems with the supply of ferrous scrap to sue "casting and rolling plant". The company, located in Archive, is engaged in the production of long products (rebar 12-32 mm) and is the largest metallurgical enterprise in the region. The plant employs more than 1,100 people and is one of the largest taxpayers in the Smolensk region. For stable operation, the company needs every month to process up to 32 thousand tons of scrap metal. According to the management of the plant, applied to the Governor of the Smolensk region Alexei Ostrovskyat the moment for break-even production sue "LPZ" a required monthly deliveries of about 10 thousand tons of scrap.
Sergey Tsyb emphasized that according to the trade Ministry, the CFA noted the surplus of ferrous scrap. According to First Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation in 2019, the Ministry of industry and trade is ready to assist in search of scrap-collecting companies that will supply raw materials for sue "LPZ".
